Come, Let us Seek the Lord

Psalm 10:4 In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek Him; all his thoughts are, ‘There is no God’.
 
The psalmist gives us one central reason that people, we, do not seek the Lord our God and it is a reason as old as time- at least back to humanity’s fall into sin. There are many different reasons that we might avoid God, but the Psalmist has just one in mind here: pride, in the pride of his face.

  

And there’s more!

Paul says that if Christ had not been raised from the dead then our faith is in vain. If Christ had not been raised from the dead, then there wouldn’t be any more, no more to the story, no more to our story, no more to the world’s story. All we would have is today [maybe] and so we might as well eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we die. But there IS more!
